The Shomrim Society of Illinois (SSI) and the Shomrim Society of Illinois Endowment Fund (SSIEF) hold a number of events each year. In 2024, our events include, but are not limited to:

• Installation of Board Members (every two years) (SSI) - Next Installation will be in 2025
• Lox & Bagel Shoot (SSIEF) - Sunday, May 5, 2024 As of May 4, 2024, Registration for this event is CLOSED.
• Annual Picnic (SSIEF) - Sunday, July 21, 2024
• Annual Golf Outing (SSI) - Friday, September 13, 2024
• Community Heroes Reception (SSIEF) - Thursday, November 14, 2024
• Chanukah Party (SSI) - TBD

Some of these events are free for paid members, their families, and their guests. Others, such as our Community Heroes Reception are events we request payment for. For all events presented under the auspices of the Shomrim Society of Illinois Endowment Fund (SSIEF), an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3), your donation for pay-only events is deductible in accordance with current IRS regulations. All proceeds from SSIEF events benefit the Shomrim Society Endowment Fund Scholarship Fund which provides educational grants to children and grandchildren of first responders, as well as donations to other deserving charities.
