On Sunday, June 12, 2022, the Shomrim Society of Illinois proudly participated in the Greater Chicagoland Jewish Festival held in Morton Grove, Illinois. Our member table was manned and woman'd by our member volunteers who passed out informational flyers about our organization to those interested in our organization of Jewish First Responders. They also responded to many questions from a large number of attendees who numbered in the thousands!

We truly appreciate the efforts of Director of Special Activities Elliot Cohen and our two Co-chairs for this event, Board members Joanna Benjamin and Ron Swidler. Special thanks to our other volunteers, 2nd Vice-President Jon Reeder (shown holding a future Shomrim member?), Recording Secretary Ari Briskman, Board members Jay Parrott and Milt Benjamin, Regular members Jeff Sacks & Jacob Weingardt, Associate member Mike Strom and Honorary member Menucha Levy. It was a long, but great day and we were thrilled to have participated!
