Our 2025 Lox & Bagel Shoot will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The “shoot” will be held at the North Shore Sports Club located at 28392 Ballard Rd. in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Each member may bring up to two (2) guests. Due to space restrictions, this event is initially open to the first sixty (60) paid members only (including associate and honorary members) and their guests. Each paid member may bring up to two (2) guests. If we see 10 days before the event that we don’t have sixty members & guests attending, we will allow those attending members to bring additional guests on a first-come, first-served basis, up to our maximum capacity.

​We are requesting each member attending pay a $20.00 entry fee. All guests will be charged $25.00 per person. This minimal fee will allow you to shoot, partake in a wonderful lox & bagel buffet, and see friends you haven’t seen in a while! The entry fee must be paid in advance; no money (other than 2025 dues payments) will be accepted at the event.

You may pay using the PayPal buttons below (Add to Cart) or send a check (no cash) to Treasurer Bruce Rottner (4950 Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077). PLEASE NOTE: there are separate PayPal buttons for members and guests. Confirming your PayPal payment or check will reserve your "spot" at this event. Regretfully, we cannot accept “phone reservations” with your intent to attend this event. You must be paid before the event.
 
We will be joined at this event by our friends from Hadassah, the international organization that connects and empowers Jewish women to effect change.

A few other items:

• Only complimentary 9mm ammunition will be available until the supply is exhausted. You may bring your own caliber of ammunition or purchase ammunition from the North Shore Sports Club. If purchasing from the gun range, it would be advisable to contact them to ensure they have the ammunition you need. North Shore’s phone number is 847-984-2283. They open at 9:00 AM during the week. The course of fire has not yet been determined; however, all shooters will be allowed to sign up for a shooting session. All shooters may participate in a safety briefing before shooting. Once again, this event is for all members whose dues are paid for 2025. If you’re unsure of your 2025 status, contact Treasurer Rottner.
